The 15th arrondissement of Paris is home to the Korean community and they’re everywhere! This is a different part of the city, with lots of modern, tall buildings, large avenues, few tourists and a vocation for business. The Korean influence goes beyond the 15th, though, and this list is the proof! Here’s a selection of the 15 best Korean addresses in Paris, to eat, to shop, to unwind…
Erborian is a French-Korean cosmetics brand whose best-known product is its BB cream made with natural plant extracts. The decor of the shop is modern with a noticeable influence of Korean Minimalism. You will find skincare (creams, serums), BB creams, CC creams…indulge yourself!

2. Le jardin de Séoul (The Seoul Garden)
This beautifully landscaped garden is located in the center of the Jardin d’Acclimatation (Acclimation Garden) inside the Bois de Boulogne, a short walk from the Fondation Louis Vuitton. Representing the friendship between Paris and Seoul, it’s here that the Mid-Autumn festival of Chuseok takes place. This year, the Chuseok is celebrated on September 23.
Mental Post-It: In modern South Korea, on Chuseok, masses of people travel from big cities for their hometowns to pay respect to the souls of the ancestors. They perform ancestral worship rituals early in the morning and tend the graves and the area around it, and supply food, beverage, and plants to their ancestors. Chuseok is often interpreted as the “Korean Thanksgiving“.

3. Mr. Caramel
This bakery is tiny and personal, 5 tables, an old buffet, some shelves Art Deco, an old tea scale. The owner, Yohan Kim, creates a rustic, homely atmosphere with the voice of Billie Holiday, apparent brick walls and mismatching chairs. Start with homemade caramels with vanilla, fleur de sel, pistachio or winter spices (80 cents each caramel or 9.5 € for 12). then sip the incredible Korean infusion with quince and honey (4,50 €) (with pieces of quince!). All teas are served with perfect orange madeleines, these little cakes below. for a flawless Proustian moment in Paris! Nothing escapes the meticulous Mr. Kim.

5. Besides Kimchi
This Korean concept opened recently in Paris. Here you can find a lot of interesting items such as Korean fashion, stationery, and a K-beauty corner! Scented candles, soju glasses, colorful Korean baguettes and more. Also check the streetwear, a reminiscent of hip-hop fashion in Hongdae.

6. Paris Baguette
This Korean bakery, whose name is “So French”, has two adresses in Paris, in strategic touristic places: near the Rue du Rivoli and the Place de l’Opera). You can enjoy French pastries and desserts, but also, of course, Korean desserts such as bingsu. Ps: The bingsu is only available in summer.

St. Anne’s Street has a huge offer of Japanese and Korean restaurants, but there are also Korean grocery stores, including K-Mart. If you want to cook Korean, you will find everything you need here.
